Good game, shameless money grab

Ive been playing sim city since sim city 2000. This game is a wonderful little city builder if it werent for one little thing. After about level 5 it is impossible to keep up with the demands of your citizens without spending real life money. Now this wouldnt be a huge problem if it werent for the prices. Fifty cents for enough sim cash to finish your sewage treatment plant? Sure Id pay that, but its not fifty cents, its more like fifteen dollars to buy enough to complete construction on the most basic of structures. Either lower the prices or make it easier to earn cash in game, because right now this game isnt fun unless you unload an obscene amount of real life dollars into it.
